Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
The Centre of Excellence for Technical and Vocational Education (CoE-TVET) was established on the 1st September 2017. The establishment of the CoE-TVET at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) brings together a unique range of nationally and internationally renowned practitioners, researchers, academicians and policy makers within the field of TVET. By building on this existing foundation, we will create an environment that catalyses the development and advancement of TVET at national and international levels.
Industry Centre of Excellence Railway (ICOE REL)
The Industry Centre of Excellence for Railway (ICoE-Rel) at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) was established to assist the development of human capital for the rapid expansion of Malaysian railway industry in line with the global transformation of rail transport.
The core members of ICoE-Rel are passionate experts in various fields related to railway.
ICoE-Rel is a railway training and research centre responsible for the management of railway expertise and the transfer of knowledge in the field of railway among academia, government agencies and railway industry at large.
ICoE-Rel also serves as the platform for establishing research collaboration at national and international levels with the aim to put Malaysia as a world-class, dynamic high-technology education hub in railway by 2025.
