Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), is one of the public universities in Malaysia primarily focusing on Engineering and Technology. UTHM is strategically located in green sub-urban environment in Batu Pahat, Johor which is about 3 hours drive to Kuala Lumpur and 1.5 hours to Singapore via North-South Expressway (NSE).

The Office for Research Management Centre (RMC) and Inovation Commercialization Centre (ICC) has a mission to manage research with excellence, effective and dynamic to achieve University’s Vision and Mission. Research Unit plays a major role in managing research at the University as well as creating a research culture at the University. UTHM has 6 research clusters, namely; Electro-technology, information Technology and Communication; Construction Technology, Facility and Environment; Manufacturing Technology, Automotive and Advance Material; Fundamental Science and Applied Mathematics; Technical and Vocational Education; Humanities, Social Science and Language Learning.
